Laura received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her master's degree in speech language pathology from Columbia University in New York.  Laura worked in New York City for three years, providing individual and small group therapy and evaluations in private and public schools.

Laura moved to her hometown of Atlanta in the summer of 2007, where she worked at the Atlanta Speech School for three years, serving as a lead teacher/speech language pathologist in an early intervention preschool program. She additionally provided support to students with language based learning problems in the Atlanta Speech School's Learning Lab and worked with a psychologist to provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.  Laura began working in private practice part-time in January 2008, and expanded her practice to full-time work in June 2010.

Currently, Laura works for families in a variety of Atlanta schools. Occasionally, she travels to homes to work in a more naturalistic setting.

Laura lives in the Toco Hills area with her husband and two children.
